Johnsons Interiors is an independent, family-run business, working from a showroom on Cold Bath Road in Harrogate since 1979. In more than forty-five years we've fitted rooms all over the town and the wider North Yorkshire area — but the way we work has never really changed. Steve leads every consultation himself, comes to your home, and gives you honest advice on what your room actually needs.

That advice is what sets us apart. Steve designs the room around your space, your ideas and his own experience — and where a kitchen or a layout is still sound, he'll happily recommend refreshing what you have rather than ripping it out and starting again. Then our own team takes over the fit: Stuart, our lead joiner, builds and installs it with Mat, tidily and precisely, while Joanne keeps you in the loop from first enquiry to sign-off. No call centre, no rotating crew of strangers, no salesman between you and the people who'll deliver the work.

What customers write about, over and over, isn't just the finished rooms — it's how the work is done. Several came to us after having national companies out first, and found it refreshing that Steve really cared about the design and the space rather than hitting a sales target.
