Styles & finishes
The choices behind a great fitted room.
A fitted room is a set of decisions — the door finish, the style, whether to refresh or replace — and the right ones depend as much on how you use the room as on how it looks. Here's an honest, plain-English guide to the options we design and fit, and what each is genuinely best for. It's the sort of thing Steve will talk you through in person, too.

Sliding systems
Sliding Door Finishes
Best for: Wardrobes · garages · playrooms · laundries
Our sliding door systems are as much about how they look as how they work. Panels come in mirror, coloured glass (solid or sectional), painted or wood finishes, all set in aluminium frames, so a run of doors can brighten a room, divide a space or simply organise it. Popular finishes include Boston Concrete and Cartesio Toucher — Steve will help you choose the panel, colour and frame that suit your room.
- Boston Concrete
- Cartesio Toucher
- Mirror & coloured glass
- Aluminium frames

Fitted bedrooms
Bedroom Styles, Designs & Colours
Best for: Period townhouses · new builds · every taste
Fitted bedroom furniture doesn't have to look like everyone else's. We work in an extensive range of styles, designs and colours, so your wardrobes and storage can feel tailored to the house — traditional and warm for a period Harrogate home, sleek and pared-back for a modern one. The storage inside is worked out around your wardrobe, making the most of eaves, corners and awkward gaps.
- Extensive style range
- Space-saving storage
- Any colour scheme

Kitchens
Refresh or Full Replacement
Best for: Tired kitchens with sound units
One of the most useful decisions in any kitchen project is whether to replace or refurbish. Where the units are structurally sound but the room looks tired, Steve will honestly recommend a refresh — new doors, worktops, handles and finishes — over a full replacement, updating the look for far less. Where a rebuild genuinely makes more sense, he'll say that too. It's advice given around your kitchen, not a sales target.
- Refurbishment where sound
- New doors & worktops
- Honest, not upsold

Bathrooms
Wet Room & Bathroom Finishes
Best for: New wet rooms · bathroom conversions
Whether we're fitting a full bathroom suite or converting a room into a wet room, the finishes are chosen to suit the space and how it's used. Contemporary tiling, glass screens, integrated storage, taps and sanitaryware are all specified together so the room reads as one considered scheme — and, in a wet room, tanked and drained properly so it stays sharp and watertight for years.
- Contemporary tiling
- Integrated storage
- Properly tanked wet rooms

Home working
Study & Office Furniture
Best for: Daily professional use · occasional admin
Fitted office furniture is designed around how you actually work. We combine function, practicality and a sleek, uncluttered look — desk space sized to the room, cable management built in, and shelving and storage that keep the day organised. Whether it's for daily professional use or the occasional evening of admin, it's tailored to the space so it feels like part of the house.
- Built-in cable management
- Sized to the room
- Sleek & practical

Every room
Lighting Design
Best for: Kitchens · dressing rooms · media & games rooms
Lighting is what makes a fitted room feel finished, so we plan it into the design rather than adding it after. We curate schemes across every room type, working with a portfolio of lighting brands and choosing the right fittings per project — layered task, feature and ambient lighting built into the furniture so the room looks its best at every time of day.
- Layered schemes
- A portfolio of brands
- Planned into the furniture
